The location of this hotel shines, with multiple bars and eateries within walking distance, offering plenty of options for a night out. The rustic charm feels authentic, especially with the vintage metal keys for rooms, giving off a nostalgic vibe that's hard not to appreciate.

However, the hotel comes with a hefty price tag for its age and condition. The air conditioning struggled to keep up, and in one room, it felt cramped, almost like being in a closet with poorly placed amenities. The coffee maker didn't function properly, and the worn area rugs left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. More accessible charging outlets would also be a nice touch, especially nowadays.

I enjoyed my two-night stay in a lovely deluxe apartment. The renovated room had a cozy vibe and spacious layout. Breakfast was a highlight, even if I had to request it to go. A few noise distractions due to nearby bars, so bring earplugs!

great comfort but some amenities missing

The bed in my Queen Room was truly comfortable, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. I loved the city view that greeted me each morning. it felt refreshing and added charm to my stay. The easy parking was also a significant plus, making the arrival and departure hassle-free.

However, I found the lack of certain amenities disappointing.

I was impressed by the spacious Madam's Room with its perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made sure to offer help whenever needed.

The staff was informative and really fun to chat with! It felt like I was having drinks with old friends, and the breakfast was delicious, had avocado toast that was out of this world!

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.

This place was a balanced option for a cursory stop in Wallace with high value for money. The pet-friendly vibe made it convenient for traveling with my dog, and I appreciated the spacious sitting area in the room. Tip, Be prepared for some stairs if you have heavy luggage.

my stay at brooks hotel restaurant and lounge was fantastic! the first floor room made loading my car easy, and being close to downtown was super convenient. i also really appreciated having directv in my quiet room. the in-house restaurant had a delightful americana breakfast that kicked off my day perfectly.
